Intimate, captivating and life-affirming, the portraits of Bryan Adams have placed him on the world stage with the most famous photographers of the day. He is, of course, world famous for his success as a singer, songwriter and producer, but his photographic work, spanning more than 20 years, has earned him equally remarkable critical acclaim. Alongside these achievements, he has also dedicated his life to humanitarian work. A vegan for over three decades, he has long been at the forefront of animal rights and environmental advocacy. Whatever Bryan Adams does, he uses his profile and compassion to direct our gaze, move our heart and change our consciousness. This exhibition consists of three series of photographs that reflect his multi-faceted work and humanitarian beliefs. A window into contrasting worlds ranging from celebrity and glamour to trauma and hardship. He always explores and empathises with the uniqueness and complexity of individuals in a way that is situated on a fundamental, universal level.
