Das IPFO (International Photo Festival Olten) ist ein renommiertes Fotofestival, das alle zwei Jahre in der Stadt Olten in der Schweiz stattfindet. Es versammelt die Avantgarde der Fotografenszene, darunter renommierte Fotograf:innen, erfolgreiche Visual Storytellers, Fotodirektor:innen von führenden Magazinen und talentierte Student:innen, um ihre Leidenschaft für die Fotografie zu feiern und ihr Wissen und ihre Erfahrungen zu teilen. Durch die hochkarätigen Referent:innen, internationalen Gäste, praxisorientierten Seminaren und Workshops sowie beeindruckenden Ausstellungen hat sich das IPFO in nur drei Ausgaben zu einem der angesehensten Fotofestivals weltweit entwickelt.
Am IPFO Campus gibt es über 60 Seminare, Workshops und Portfolio Reviews. Am Abend und in der Nacht bietet das IPFO eine Reihe von unvergesslichen Erlebnissen wie zum Beispiel inspirierende Vorträge von Fotograf:innen und natürlich das IPFO-Zelt, die das Festival besonders einzigartig machen.
Zudem freut es uns ausserordentlich, dass wir an der diesjährigen Ausgabe des Festivals die Fotovermittlung ausbauen konnten und so, diverse Angebote für Kinder, Jugendliche und Familien anbieten können.

Die öffentlichen Ausstellungen sind vom Mittwoch 23.08.23, um 19:00 Uhr - Sonntag 27.08.23, um 17:00 Uhr 24/7 geöffnet.
Die Ausstellungen, bei welchen ein Ticket benötigt wird, sind folgendermassen geöffnet:

IPFO (International Photo Festival Olten) is a renowned photography festival that takes place every two years in the city of Olten, Switzerland. It gathers the avant-garde of the photography scene, including renowned photographers, successful visual storytellers, photo editors of leading magazines and talented students, to celebrate their passion for photography and share their knowledge and experiences. With top-notch speakers, international guests, hands-on seminars and workshops, and impressive exhibitions, IPFO has become one of the most respected photography festivals in the world in just three editions.
More than 50 seminars, workshops and portfolio reviews take place at the IPFO Campus. In the evening and at night, IPFO offers a number of unforgettable experiences, such as inspiring lectures by photographers and of course the IPFO tent, which make the festival particularly unique.

Unsere IPFO Campus Portfolio Reviews, die während des Festivals stattfinden, sind eine einzigartige Gelegenheit, die Arbeiten von Studenten und Profis zu präsentieren und mit einem unglaublichen hochkarätigen Experten zu diskutieren. Zu den Portfolio-Reviewern gehörten Susan White (ehemalige Fotodirektorin, Vanity Fair, NYC), Lars Boering (ehemaliger Direktor von World Press Photo, Amsterdam) und Magdalena Herrera (Fotodirektorin, Geo France), um nur einige zu nennen.

Education and inspiration characterize our festival. At IPFO CAMPUS we organize seminars, masterclasses and workshops for students from all over the world with internationally renowned and the best Swiss photographers. These seminars and workshops take place throughout the year - not just during the IPFO Festival, which takes place every two years.Our IPFO Campus Portfolio Reviews, which take place during the Festival, are a unique opportunity to showcase the work of students and professionals and discuss it with an incredibly high-caliber team of experts. Portfolio reviewers have included Susan White (former photo editor of Vanity Fair, NYC), Lars Boering (former director of World Press Photo, Amsterdam), and Magdalena Herrera (photo editor of Geo France), to name a few.
