HOUSE OF PHOTOGRAPHY
The IPFO House of Photography is a house steeped with history. For 145 years it served as a nature museum, until it was taken over and extensively refurbished in 2020 by the IPFO (International Photo Festival Olten) team with the support of the city of Olten. Today it is a location for internationally renowned photo exhibitions, designed to inspire and excite people from near and far.
The first of these was none other than the American film director and leading artist David Lynch with the exhibition «Infinite Deep» in March 2021.

ABOUT US
The International Photo Festival Olten, in short IPFO, was founded by Swiss photographer and Emmy Award winner Marco Grob, Zurich creative director Charles Blunier, Paul Merki, Christoph Zehnder, and the photographer Remo Buess. The festival takes place for the third time in 2021, once again making Olten the capital of photography in Europe over the course of four days.
In 2020 the team took on the former nature museum in the centre of Olten and opened the IPFO House of Photography in March 2021 after extensive refurbishing.
