    Zum vierten Mal bietet das International Photo Festival Olten (IPFO) einen exklusiven Einblick in das Schaffen talentierter und inspirierender Fotograf:innen – erstmals auf internationaler Ebene. Eine hochkarätige, internationale Jury wählt rund 50 Werke aus, die während vier Tagen in einer aussergewöhnlichen Aussenausstellung unter freiem Himmel präsentiert werden.     Die hochklassige internationale Jury wird deine Arbeit bewerten und entscheidet, ob du bei PHOTOVILLE4600 dabei bist.

  • Die Bewerbungsgebühr richtet sich an die Anzahl Bilder die du einreichst und muss bei der Anmeldung mit Kreditkarte beglichen werden.

  • Ja, es steht dir frei, ob du mehrere Projekte einreichen willst. Pro Fotograf:in werden jedoch maximal 6 Bilder an der PHOTOVILLE4600 gezeigt.
    Eine Anmeldung besteht aus bis zu 6 Bildern (Einzelbilder oder Serie).
    Die Jury kann aber auch nur 1 oder 2 Bilder selektionieren. Dies würden wir dir dann mitteilen, wenn du ausgewählt wirst.

  • Wenn du für die Fotoausstellung PHOTOVILLE4600 ausgewählt wirst, fällt eine Teilnahmegebühr von CHF 170.00 an.

    Hinzu kommen die Produktionskosten für deine Bilder. Die Bilder müssen bei unserem Partner Printolino.ch gedruckt werden. Du profitierst von einem Sonderrabatt.

    Sollen die Bilder nach der Ausstellung versendet werden, erheben wir dafür eine Versand- und Bearbeitungsgebühr.

    Vergiss nicht, dass wir deine Bilder in unserem Online-Shop zum Verkauf anbieten können und du die Kosten mehr als wieder reinholen kannst.

  • Wenn du für die Ausstellung ausgewählt wirst, senden wir dir eine Anleitung mit den genauen Spezifikationen. Deine Bilder sollten aber mindestens über eine Auflösung von 150dpi haben.

  • Total sind es 50 Aussteller:innen. Auf eine fixe Anzahl möchten wir uns nicht festlegen, da wir auf Qualität und nicht Quantität setzen. Wir möchten die Fotografien ausstellen, welche die Jury überzeugen.

  • Sobald die Jury alle Arbeiten sichten konnte, teilt das IPFO schriftlich mit, ob du an der diesjährigen PHOTOVILLE4600 ausstellen kannst.
    Die Jurierung startet Ende Juni 2025. Bis spätestens am 23.06.24 solltest du von uns Bescheid bekommen ob du es geschafft hast oder nicht.

  • Du wirst schriftlich darüber informiert. Wichtig ist, du gehst bei einer Ablehnung nicht leer aus. Du erhältst von uns eine Einladung ans Festival inkl. Networking-Event und Apéro.

  • Ja, du kannst innerhalb von fünf Tagen nach Erhalt der finalen Teilnahmebestätigung schriftlich und ohne Begründung von der Teilnahme an der PHOTOVILLE4600 zurücktreten. Die Anmeldegebühr wird aber nicht zurückerstattet.

  • Widerspricht deine Arbeit dem Qualitätsanspruch oder den technischen Richtlinien darf IPFO eine Absage ohne Begründung erteilen.

  • Die Herstellung der Bilder erfolgt ausschliesslich durch unseren Partner Printolino.ch. Du musst für die Kosten aufkommen, profitierst dabei aber von einem Rabatt. Die Bilder gehören im Anschluss an die Ausstellung dir.

    Du bezahlst für die Prints, welche auf Alu-Dibond aufgezogen werden, ungefähr CHF 355.00 pro m2 (Rabatt schon eingerechnet). Dazu kommen pro Bild noch zwei Aufhängeösen für je CHF 7.00 (Preise inkl. Mwst).

    Denke daran, dass wir deine Bilder zum Verkauf anbieten können und du somit die Kosten mehr als wieder reinholen kannst.

    Die Bilder werden nach der Produktion von Printolino direkt zum IPFO transportiert und von unseren Mitarbeitern aufgehängt. Du musst dich also nicht darum kümmern.

  • Der Aufhängen deiner Bilder und Abbau erfolgt durch IPFO. Du kannst also entspannt der Vernissage entgegenschauen.

  • Deine Ausstellungsfläche darf nicht mit Visitenkarten, Flyern oder anderem Werbematerial bestückt werden.
    Wir werden neben deinen Bildern folgende Info zeigen:

    • Bio mit QR Code deiner Website

    • Bild- oder Arbeitsbeschreibung

    Die Beschriftung wird einheitlich durch IPFO angebracht.

  • Mit dem Einreichen deiner Bewerbung überträgst du die kostenlosen Nutzungsrechte deiner Arbeit an IPFO. Du gibst dich damit einverstanden, dass deine Bilder und Informationen im Rahmen der Fotoausstellung PHOTOVILLE4600 für elektronische Medien, für Werbezwecke sowie für die Pressearbeit frei verwendet werden dürfen. Wenn immer es möglich ist, werden wir das Copyright erwähnen. 
    Es besteht jedoch kein Anspruch auf Medien- oder Bildpräsenz.

  • Die Vermarktung der Fotoausstellung obliegt ausschließlich der IPFO. Den Teilnehmern der PHOTOVILLE4600 ist es untersagt, ihren Stand in irgendeiner Form zu vermarkten oder Sponsoren einzubinden.

  • IPFO ist berechtigt, Skizzen, Pläne, Fotos und Videos von deinen Fotos im Haus der Fotografie anzufertigen, die für eigene Zwecke, die Website, PR oder die Presse verwendet werden können.

    For the fourth time, the International Photo Festival Olten (IPFO) is offering an exclusive insight into the work of talented and inspiring photographers – for the first time on an international level. A high-caliber international jury will select around 50 works, which will be presented over four days in an extraordinary outdoor exhibition under the open sky. The new international format creates exciting perspectives and promotes creative exchange between artists from all over the world.

  • If you are selected for the exhibition, we will send you instructions with the exact specifications. However, your images should have a resolution of at least 150 dpi.

  • There are 50 exhibitors in total. We don't want to set a fixed number, as we focus on quality and not quantity. We want to exhibit the photographs that convince the jury.

  • Once the jury has reviewed all entries, the IPFO will notify you in writing whether you will be able to exhibit at this year's PHOTOVILLE4600.
    The judging process will begin at the end of June 2025. You should hear from us by June 23, 2024, at the latest, whether you have been selected or not.

  • You will be informed in writing. It is important to note that you will not be left empty-handed if your application is rejected. You will receive an invitation to the festival from us, including a networking event and aperitif.

  • Yes, you can withdraw from PHOTOVILLE4600 in writing within five days of receiving the final confirmation of participation without giving a reason. However, the registration fee will not be refunded.

  • If your work does not meet the quality standards or technical guidelines, IPFO may reject it without giving reasons.

  • The pictures are produced exclusively by our partner Printolino.ch. You are responsible for the costs, but you will benefit from a discount. The pictures are yours to keep after the exhibition.

    You pay approximately CHF 355.00 per m2 (discount already included) for the prints, which are mounted on aluminum Dibond. In addition, there are two hanging loops per picture for CHF 7.00 each (prices include VAT).

    Remember that we can offer your pictures for sale, so you can more than recoup the costs.

    After production, the pictures will be transported directly to IPFO and hung by our staff. So you don't have to worry about that.

  • IPFO will hang and take down your pictures, so you can relax and look forward to the opening.

  • Your exhibition space may not be filled with business cards, flyers, or other advertising material. 
    We will display the following information next to your pictures:

    • Biography with QR code to your website

    • Description of the picture or work

    The labels will be provided by IPFO and will be uniform.

  • By submitting your application, you transfer the free rights of use of your work to IPFO. You agree that your images and information may be used freely in the PHOTOVILLE4600 photo exhibition for electronic media, advertising purposes, and press relations. Whenever possible, we will mention the copyright.
    However, there is no entitlement to media or image presence.

  • The marketing of the photo exhibition is the sole responsibility of IPFO. Participants in PHOTOVILLE4600 are prohibited from marketing their booth in any way or involving sponsors.

  • IPFO is entitled to make sketches, plans, photos, and videos of your photos in the House of Photography, which may be used for its own purposes, on its website, for PR, or in the press.

  • Si tu es sélectionné pour l'exposition, on t'enverra des instructions avec les spécifications exactes. Tes photos doivent avoir une résolution minimale de 150 dpi.

  • Au total, il y a 50 exposants. Nous ne voulons pas nous engager sur un nombre fixe, car nous misons sur la qualité et non sur la quantité. Nous souhaitons exposer les photographies qui ont convaincu le jury.

  • Une fois que le jury aura examiné tous les travaux, l'IPFO t'informera par écrit si tu peux exposer à PHOTOVILLE4600 cette année.
    La sélection aura lieu fin juin 2025. Tu seras informé au plus tard le 23 juin 2024 si tu as été sélectionné ou non.

  • Tu seras informé par écrit. Si ta candidature n'est pas retenue, tu ne repartiras pas les mains vides. Tu recevras une invitation au festival, incluant une soirée de réseautage et un apéritif.

  • Oui, tu peux te désinscrire de PHOTOVILLE4600 par écrit dans les cinq jours suivant la réception de la confirmation finale de participation, sans avoir à donner de raison. Mais les frais d'inscription ne seront pas remboursés.

  • Si ton travail ne respecte pas les normes de qualité ou les directives techniques, IPFO peut refuser ta candidature sans donner de raison.

  • Les photos sont imprimées par notre partenaire Printolino.ch. Tu dois payer les frais, mais tu profites d'une réduction. Après l'expo, les photos t'appartiennent.

    Tu paies environ CHF 355.00 par m² (réduction déjà incluse) pour les tirages sur Alu-Dibond. À cela s'ajoutent deux œillets de suspension pour chaque image, au prix de CHF 7.00 chacun (prix TTC).

    N'oublie pas qu'on peut mettre tes images en vente et que tu peux donc largement récupérer tes frais.

    Une fois produites, les images sont directement transportées chez IPFO par Printolino et accrochées par nos collaborateurs. Tu n'as donc pas à t'en occuper.

  • IPFO will hang and take down your pictures, so you can relax and look forward to the opening.

  • Ton espace d'exposition ne doit pas être encombré de cartes de visite, flyers ou autres supports publicitaires. 
    À côté de tes photos, on affichera les infos suivantes :

    • Bio avec le QR code de ton site web

    • Description de la photo ou du travail

    Les légendes seront uniformisées par IPFO.

  • En envoyant ta candidature, tu donnes à IPFO le droit d'utiliser gratuitement ton travail. Tu acceptes que tes photos et infos soient utilisées librement dans le cadre de l'expo photo PHOTOVILLE4600 pour les médias électroniques, à des fins publicitaires et pour le travail de presse. Dans la mesure du possible, on mentionnera le copyright.
    Il n'y a cependant pas de droit à une présence dans les médias ou à la publication des photos.

  • La commercialisation de l'exposition photo est uniquement gérée par l'IPFO. Les participants à PHOTOVILLE4600 ne peuvent pas faire de pub pour leur stand de quelque manière que ce soit ni impliquer des sponsors.

  • IPFO a le droit de faire des croquis, des plans, des photos et des vidéos de tes photos à la Maison de la Photographie, qui peuvent être utilisés pour ses propres besoins, son site web, ses relations publiques ou la presse.
